We hope to share Grace's life with our family and friends through this site. It's so hard to travel away from home and the ones that we love as much as we do. It is even harder to not be able to share Grace with you. Now you can visit little Gracie whenever you want and see what she has been up to.

Update

There is just so much to share about Grace that I feel like it can't be done in the picture captions, this message, or even phone conversations. Every single day she just amazes me. Her mind is such a suction cup. One day several months ago, she ran out into the street. I grabbed her and really laid into her that she can't do that. Then I said, "if you want to cross the street you have to hold my hand or daddy's hand." Now everytime she wants to go in the street, whether it's to go get the mail or a toy that rolled down the driveway, she reaches up for my hand and off we go. Another amazing Grace incident occurred two days ago when I told Ryan that I was going to go get the mail. Grace scrambled to her feet and started running to the door. Now this might not sound that impressive because this could seem like a daily routine that she's just catching on to, but I only get the mail once a week, twice if I'm lucky. I keep a little book of incidents in which I write down things that Grace does that I hope to never forget. Ryan and I tried to come up with and write down every single word that Grace uses. We came up with 50. When did this happen?! Maybe it has something to do with reading 10-20 books a day. When we read through the books now, she says some of the words along with me or before me. It takes me back to when I learned to read. I remember memorizing a book first and then making the connection between what I was saying and the words on the page. I hope that through these little synopses I've given you a little connection into our world with Grace these days. Much love to all.
